I am disappointed in the aluminum cups. They are, indeed, pretty and bright but the finish comes off in the dishwasher. Not good to have to remind five year old twins girls, who have wanted the cups so badly, that they must be careful. As a kid growing up. there were no problems. They still are holding up, but not the new ones.

Having an ice cold mint julep in a shiny tumbler is a treat. These tumblers cool quickly and if the air has any kind of humidity it will bead quickly on the sides. Add a little more ice and expect to see frost before you finish sipping your cola. Holding onto the cold, smooth metal too long can make the hand ache like a memory of dangling your legs off the porch and having your grandmother call you a rascal. When your hand comes away it will leave an impression in the frost and you can think about how much bigger you are now.

The aluminum doesn't add a metal flavor to a beverage whether it's a milk shake, cola, lemonade or that mint julep (I haven't tried wine in them yet). They can take a drop and may get a bit nicked if they land on a really hard surface. Sticky stuff should be soaked off and Hand washing preserves the shininess. Dishwashing may make it look like something faded from a long time ago like old Kodachrome photos with images of your parents when they were young.

The sides are straight and not fluted at all like similar tumblers. If you stack them together for storage expect to see a ring about half an inch from the lip from where they rub on each other. Be sure to put them away dry to keep them from getting locked together. If two get stuck together put ice in once and dip the other in hot water, they'll let go.

Great for the patio on a warm evening and holds enough of a beverage to satisfy and it feel great in the hand. Use a coaster or a table cloth, it will save your wood furniture and make your wife happier. Five stars for what it is and I'll buy them again if it strikes me in the future.

After reading much on the reviews online for this pot, I decided to order it and hoped that at least it would work as for my needs.

What I received went well beyond my expectations for this pot! The finish is well made and the top fits perfectly all the time. There's that metal-chemical smell when you first remove the lid from the pot, as with any type of goods which receives special coatings of protection. After a generous bath in vinegar and another bath in concentrated orange cleaner, the odor is kaput!

The pot is tall but not so much as to be hard to cook in the stovetop. Clean up is a breeze and the outside will not hold runs as others. The material in the lid knob as well as the two side handles is not the type used on my T-Fal set, they feel more plastic than rubbery.

The pot heats evenly and as expected from non-stick interiors, foods will not cling to the walls or interior bottom.

My only complaint would be that the external bottom is hard to clean when spills reach the base, as the grooves are anything but easy to scrub. Other than this minor setback, this is another great product from the T-Fal line which is becoming a classic stamp in our kitchen!

If you want your non-stick pots and cooking sets to last, dump every piece of metallic spoons and serving ware that you normally use to cook in your kitchen! We have a set from 7 years ago made by T-Fal which still retains the non-stick abilities like the first day they were unboxed and used! No matter how much they tell you is ok to use metal spoons and stuff, don't!

Like another reviewer, my pot arrived reeking of mothballs (why?). Nothing I've tried has taken the odor out...scrubbing with detergent, soaking in bleach, soaking in water with baking soda, leaving it out in the sun, boiling water in it. The smell is still there, and I am afraid to cook in it (obviously). It's going back for exchange.

Other than the nasty chemical smell, however, it's a nice large pot, reasonably thick walled, with sturdy handles. In trying to clean it, I was hauling 12 quarts of water all over the kitchen and yard, and the handles handled the load just fine.

I love the Nativity Scene. When set up, it appears three-dimensional. It was easy to set up, even came with its own light. (I didn't have to try to figure out how to illuminate it) I intend to add the animals for next year! I was well pleased with the END result~It looks wonderful in the yard.

I am thrilled with this Nativity Set, having finally found an outdoor Nativity that I could afford and maintain. It arrived early and in excellent condition. I used a mallet to assemble the pieces and it was easy. I had a little trouble with the star, but quickly remedied the problem by separating the stable "walls" a bit further apart. To add a bit of dimension, I placed Mary a bit closer to the manger and set Joseph a couple inches more forward. Plus, the hay helps to add depth, as well. I used an energy-saving "1300 lumens" spotligjht which was only about 26 watts, but had the brightness of about 90 or 100 watts. But, be sure to screw it in snugly, or it won't light (once I had it secured, there was no further difficulty). I put the spotlight about 8 or 9 feet from the Holy Family: It looks wonderful! The colors are vibrant, both day and night. Several neighbors have already complimented this display. I took photos of my daughter and nieces around this Nativity, and it came out adorable --- "sendable quality." Perhaps I will order more additions (Wise men, shepherds, angels, etc.), next year, as the shipping box had an order form enclosed. Obviously, am I very happy with this Nativity set, and would recommend it to anyone, including non-mechanical type people like myself. The instructions are clear and step-by step.

We don't have many silver items. We have a set (8) of silver-plated grapefruit spoons. a couple dinner knives and some minor jewelry. As such, there's not much need for silver cleaner in our house and we seldom use it. Somehow we have a glass jar (about 8 ounces) of Wright's Silver Cream. I have no idea where I got this stuff. I remember my mother used to use it on the family silver dinnerware and the jar may date back to the 60s, or beyond. The jar is imprinted with the brand name on the bottom. I really ought to see what I could get for it as an antique or vintage item. lol In any case, we had need to use a little of it on our somewhat tarnished spoons the other night. The stuff was dried out but it just took a little water to bring it back to life. Man, is this stuff effective! Just a bit of scrubbing and polishing with a soft cloth and our old silver spoons looked like the newest, most expensive items in our dinnerware drawer. I'm amazed! My wife had never used it before and she was just astonished. I suppose the new stuff you're now buying on the internet is the same exact formula and I expect it's a real excellent product, if you have any silver items.

For special occasions and holiday dinners, my mother always uses her good silverware that was passed down from her grandmother. They are beautiful pieces, but somewhere along the line my mom stopped using silver polish and the good silverware wasn't so good anymore. All of the pieces were tarnished and the tips of the forks were starting to turn black. It looked as though someone used our good forks to roast marshmallows over a campfire with. No matter how many times we would wash the silverware, they just never got back their shine.

After Thanksgiving dinner last month, I decided to take it upon myself to polish the silver. I wasn't sure what polish I should use so I decided to give this Weiman silver cream a try since I thought it was a good price.

The container comes with a little sponge. All you need to do is wet the sponge or your own towel, then rub the silver and rinse. The great part about this product is you don't have to scrub your piece very hard and it easily removes the toughest tarnish and stains. I was beyond impressed when I rinsed the cream off of my silverware. My forks that once looked like they were used to roast marshmallows with, was now in mint condition. They shined like new and I could practically use my newly cleaned spoons as a mirror! This product is great!

I definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs to clean silver. It's easy to use, does the job, and the finished result is amazing!

This mattress cover fits perfectly and didn't shrink when washed. So far, with my son at 5 months old, it has dealt with a lot of spit up, drool and a little bit of leaky (wee) overnight diapers. The mattress underneath is nice and clean. Lovely material also provides a small amount of extra cushion for baby.
